casey and indie were fighting over a hymn book at church today. indie was being her usual stubborn self and got pretty fired up. casey finally got the book out of her hands and she screamed, "i want to sing halleluia!" (i'm too tired to figure out how to spell the dumb word)

pop pop got indie a special chair so she could sit up at the grown up table for dinner. I said "what do you say to pop pop?" indie mumbled "i don't want to say thank you."

indie calls grandma debbi "damma" (pronounced like the naughty word). well, damma doesn't like this name along with bamma which chase used to call her. she decided to name herself "gram cracker" but it's not sticking. indie was trying to get damma's attention and just couldn't so finally she yelled, "dam cracker!"

well, my pictures and computer knowledge have gone down the toilet. i click on the picture icon and nothing happens. so if you can just visualize a little blonde tazmanian devil, you've got yourself a pretty good idea of what this fussy butt looks like. p.s. liz, ber, i need major help!

hurray for sage mckenzie

so i'm having a serious relapse in computer knowledge(or my computer sucks ^*&%) and so i can't post a picture of my latest niece who is so darn cute i can't even explain it!! congrats to bri-bri and adi adi adi for popping out another beautiful baby! she had everyone a little worried with congested lungs or something like that but she's off the machines and under lights for jaundice. she hopefully gets to come home tuesday and we love her like crazy. so if you want pics of this cutie go to alifinale.blogspot.com and excuse my brother's post (it's genetic). peace out people.

so i used to could dance!!

there's a whole other generation taking the dance world by storm and i am so dang proud to be involved even if it's just a tiny little bit in seeing these girls realize their dreams! i become personally involved in their lives and right now, i'm having a moment. i am so proud of kelene who has failed but gotten up and tried again and is now moving to sin city to be one of the chosen few to dance in the donny and marie show. i work with amazing talent everywhere i look. and i love that i can be a part of it even if it's the yelling about an absence part!!! :)






have you ever heard the phrase, those who can't- teach? well i guess that's what i've become: the canter of the skill of dance so i will teach. which i actually love my job, not so much all the work, but the connections and amazing girls and 1 boy that i get to teach. i love dance, but i love teaching also. not so much math or science or any other subject besides dance but i also love working with the crazy teenagers. i love to hear about their drama and complain with them on how hard a class is. this crazy thing happens in my classes, at the school and the studio- once you're mine, you're mine. i love you forever. hopefully none of my student's will come across this so i can still threaten with my scary demeanor every so often! the end

congrats to lizzy, stevie, nashy-boy and lexi!!! what a yuppy family-hurray!! baby haven weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and has lots of dark hair. liz is a total champ and makes other mothers look wimpy-kinda sucks but yay for her. indie can't wait to go swimming and take tubs with haven, she'll have to wait awhile, maybe this will teach her patience(something no one else in this family has mastered)love you mrs. and mr. liz anderson!!

okay, so my baby sister just graduated with her master's degree in speech pathology. super smart, i know. anyhoo just wanted to give her a big shout out and tell her how proud i am of her, she seriously is my hero. she's beautiful, humble, smart, down to earth, good, kind, real, talented. . . i know, if it were anyone else, i'd hate her! she's amazing and i just want to close with a song dedication from when i was little:

casey and i are beginning to think we are raising a pathalogical liar!!! we don't know if libby lies deliberately or if she is actually really delusional. examples:
1) libby told josh that she was really tired because chase woke her up in the middle of the night and they HAD to make cookies. when josh asked what kind she didn't miss a beat and said pumpkin??!!
2) libby told a story to her whole preschool class: we have two dogs, one of them can talk. one day mocha ran away and we asked toby where she was. toby told us (as she pinched her lips to talk like a dog) she's at the gas station. so we went to the gas station and mocha wasn't there. then toby told us that is was the other gas station!!??
3) casey took libby to see east high school and then went and played football with some work friends. later that day libby told a girl that she just went to a high school musical production and then watched the high school musical football team practice.!!??
4) okay so this isn't really a lie but it delves into the crazy world of my daughter. during her spiritual easter lesson libby stood up in the middle of the class and sang "she turned around and gave that big booty a smack" and then sat right back down.??
